Snack Packs for Kids

The Educational and Charitable Foundation and WGB teamed up to assemble 1,000 snack packs for the kids that WGB serves. These snack packs will be distributed to the kids WGB serves to provide them with a needed meal over the weekend and school breaks.

Funds for snack packs were also enerously supported by The Loudoun Impact Fund a  partnership by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.

Salesforce

You know it's a big group when we have to take the picture outside! We were thrilled and honored that Saleforce choose to volunteer at WGB. The group of employees from in and out of state arrived in 2 buses and got started working right away, getting the warehouse organized and the boutique stocked and ready for our next store day.

We do not have enough words to describe this empowering group of women. They are here every other week impacting our community by providing an exceptional shopping experience to our clients as well as helping keep WGB organized/stocked for the month! We are beyond lucky to have them and are touched by their dedication for helping women and children gain the confidence of a lifetime.

Volunteer Drives

Bill DuBois, Bette Rutherford, Dave Baer assisted at the NFCU Headquarters in Vienna, Virginia and filled FOUR SUVs with over 160 bags of clothing. They asked us to return as more clothes showed up and we collected another 20 bags! Thank you to Carol Hayes for organizing this drive (as she has for the past 4 years!) and Mike Tutsock who helped us load our vehicles.
